Syed Asim Zaffar, a Legend in the IT industry with an experience of over 24 years has formally joined VectraGroup of Companies after providing consultancy to this group for the past two years. He joined this group with the sole purpose of taking this venture to newer directions and taking it to new horizons of success.
It is been a successful decade, since VectraCom is in operations and if offering its services in the Asia, Middle Eastern and African region. Over the period of time, the Company expanded to a 100 plus professionals organization with direct offices in Karachi, Dubai Media City and Multiple Liaison offices in Pakistan (Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore) Yemen, Afghanistan and Uganda.
The Company specializes in Messaging; SMS & MMS based Value Added Services over GSM/CDMA, WAP/GPRS & Emerging 3G platforms. With Multiple Development Centers in Pakistan, VectraCom provides 24/7/365 Customer Support to both national and international clients and partners.
SAZ plans to take this venture in newer directions to pursue the opportunities in the sector of Enterprise software Development, e-government, Systems integration, Core Sourcing and Executive Development Programs. SAZ Mentioned that

SAZ has served IT industry in various domains such as sales, marketing and operations throughout his career. He was the Vice President - Operations of Crescent Software Products (Pvt.) Ltd. He also served as Director of the Sindh Information Technology Board (Government of Sindh) and prior joining VectraGroup he was working as Executive Vice President of Ora-tech Systems (Pvt.) Ltd. and Micro-Innovations & Technologies (MIT).
He has managed teams of well over one hundred people at a time and participated in complex corporate strategy, marketing and planning activities. With his tremendous degree of exposure in public relations both nationally and internationally, he is going to add a great value to VectraGroup.
The Mayor of the City of Naperville, IL, USA once awarded SAZ with the Key of the City while at CresSoft in recognition of his Public Relations and Marketing efforts. Apart from that he has received numerous awards in recognitions of his performance and efforts.
SAZ plans to introduce newer trends of marketing and business development at VectraGroup with the motive of penetrating into the regions of North America, Middle East, Far East and parts of Europe. He is also looking after the strategic business development planning and budgeting for the entire organization. His major role will be identifying the future direction of the company along with the Chairman and Board of Directors of the Group with core focus on Client Management and Engagement Management.
SAZ is also working in the advisory capacity with government sector to achieve understanding and help resolve issues like, challenges faced by local companies in recruiting as well as retaining professionals and increasing the industry-academia liaison. He was very functional in initiating the ISO 9001 compliance effort under TickIT scheme and supervised the acquisition of certification for our development centers.
